In steel mills and wire mills, four-row cylindrical roller bearings are usually used to withstand roll rolling forces. The inner rings of these bearings are mounted on the roll neck in an interference fit. Frequent roll changes due to rapid wear, heavy loads and serious contamination. This inevitably requires the inner rings to be removed and then fitted to a new roll. With the SQZ heater, the inner ring is heated before the roll neck is heated. The inner ring can be easily removed from the roll neck along with the induction heater. Even for relatively large inner rings, the entire operation process takes only two to three minutes.
Induction heaters can also be used as installation equipment, the heated bearing inside the trap to the roller neck becomes a real worry-free work. The time required to disassemble the bearing inner ring is greatly reduced.
