How to install industrial synchronous belt?

Whether the synchronous belt is replaced or the synchronous belt is reinstalled on a new transmission device, Youji suggests following the steps below.

1. Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, and unscrew the mounting bolts of the motor. Move the motor to make the belt loose enough to remove the belt without prying. Never pry the belt off.

2. Remove the old belt and check whether there is abnormal wear. Excessive wear may indicate a problem with the design or maintenance of the drive.

3. Select a suitable belt to replace.

4. Clean the belt and pulley. Wipe the cloth with nonvolatile liquid. It is not advisable to soak the belt in detergent or brush the belt with detergent; To remove oil and dirt, it is obviously not advisable to use sandpaper or sharp objects to scrape. The belt must be dry before installation and use.

5. Check whether there is abnormal wear and whether it is linear and symmetrical. Linear symmetry of belt pulley is essential for the operation of synchronous belt drive. (See the figure)

6. Check the symmetry, durable oil and lubrication of other transmission device components, such as bearings or shaft sleeves.

7. Install a new belt on the pulley without prying or exerting too much force.

10.
