The sonic belt tensiometer measures the belt tension without contact. When in use, the sensor measuring head is pointed at the belt to be measured, and the belt is struck to make it vibrate, thus measuring the tension (N) and frequency (Hz).
The U-550 is an upgraded version of the U-508, with faster test speeds compared to the 508, improved measurement sensitivity and test range, and less impact on ambient noise. In addition, the U-550 can preset up to 40 measurement conditions on the PC, which facilitates field measurement management.
Measurement steps:
1. Connect the sensor and turn on the power
2. "SELECT" Select the number of "NO" of the setting condition, or directly enter the number to jump to the corresponding NO
3, Input the belt unit quality: manually input, press "MASS" to enter the digital key, long press "MASS" to select the preset belt type unit quality, press "MEASURE" to determine.
4, input belt WIDTH: press "width" into the input belt width value * V-type belt input number
5, Input measurement SPAN length value: press "span" to enter the input measurement span length value.
6, start the measurement: after the setting is completed, put the sensor close to the middle of the measuring belt, press "MEASURE", light up the green light, and move the belt
7, display tension: After receiving the vibration sound of the belt, 0.2 seconds later the display results at the same time a beep sound, LED (green) light. To display frequency, press Hz to display frequency.
Press and hold 0/RANGE to select the measurement frequency range.
